July 2010 Papertrey Blog Hop

It would be so much easier if I started making a card for the blog hop days ago, but noo, as usual I wait till the last day! This month's challenge was to use office supplies. I know what you are thinking...this card has NO office supplies! Let me explain...

I had out all my cool new office supply goodies like the Its Official, School time, and Library Ledger stamp sets then I die cut a Spiral Notebook Page.

Then I got distracted.

I saw the negative image of the notebook page looked like cute little whimsical flowers. So I got out my Wonderfully Whimsical set and made this card.

I hope it kindof counts as office supply use because it is using the Notebook page die! Annd the house is cut from a ledger paper. I know that is a stretch lol, but I think it's kinda cute and wanted to share!

And here is a closeup of the Spiral Notebook Flowers....

EDITED TO ADD...

Ha ha! I typed up what you just read yesterday! I typed it all up and went to the forum to see everybody'sentries! As I sat there waiting, I realized it was only the 24th! I didn't get to post it for 24 more hours! Well for once I was early! So I made another card! I had some time so I decided to challenge myself a little by using only white card stock! Everything is colored with either ink or Copic markers. The grass ruler, admit one door, order paper house stamped with Past Due and the lined paper roof are all from It's Official.

The pencils on the roof and book window are from School time and the background graph paper is from Mini Scrapbook Series Library Ledger. I also used the snail from Flutterby Friend and sentiment from On My Couch. And I die cut the Large Ric Rac and colored it with a Copic marker for the trim on the roof.

I had so much fun making these cards but can't wait another 24 hours to see what everybody else created! So I sure hope today is the 25th!!!
