Moxie Fab Challenge..Offset Scallop Gallop

One of the challenges over at the Moxie Fab Blog is the Offset Scallop Gallop. (say that 3 times fast!)http://www.moxiefabworld.com/2010/09/moxie-fab-world-challenge-offset.html
The challenge is to "Create a project (card, gift bag, tag, layout, home decor item, mini-book cover, etc.) that incorporates offset scallops in an innovative way."
Here is my card....

Tea for Two...Me & You
I chose to really offset them! ha ha. I used 2 sizes of Papertrey's scallop dies and used 2 different colors as well. I added a couple strips of red patterned paper for a little more interest. The paper is from American Crafts. The card stock and teapot stamps and dies are Papertrey. I used white embossing powder after stamping the pots. Then used pop dots to adhere it to the Tim Holtz die. I used Aqua Mist and Pure Poppy inks to stamp the sentiment and background. Lets see.. did I miss anything? oh, I sewed it onto  Pure Poppy cardtock and wallah!
Moxie Fab has some more challenges going on now...

PTI Sept. Blog Hop

I have learned soo much thanks to the amazing designers at Papertrey! It is fun to get up in the morn, grab my breakfast and head on over to blogland to see what's new.

All the designers are so talented and I've learned something from all of them.
Sometimes you need to make quick cards.
The cards I've posted today, I would like to thank Mish for! She makes multiple cards in one sitting and breaks it down so it is simple to do.

I got a call from my daughter who is away at college asking for 16 thank-you cards. (she is a sec. for her sorority) and she needed them in 2-3 days! I never make more than a couple at a time so I had a little panic then thought of Mish! She teaches to gather up your supplies, pick your paper, make some do dads and put the together!

I picked the Year of Flowers: Rose (AOII's flower), some Fillable Frames, a pad of K&Co paper and my ink and tools and made these...
This one used SEI paper that got mixed in my mess!
I stamped thank you 3 times on this one.
I used my corner chomper to round the corners.
I kept them simple and flat and I finished 18 cards in just a couple hours!
Thanks PTI designers!

Moxie Fab Challenge that really isn't a challenge!

Here is my card for the Challenge that really isn't a challenge! haha I love that title! http://www.moxiefabworld.com/2010/08/im-just-sayin.html
It was inspired by this notebook:

Could you tell? haha Those birdies reminded me of my Hero Arts stamp so I got it out and stamped and stamped and stamped them. Then I colored them with my Copic markers(while watching The Outlaw Josey Wales).  Fun! Then I used a Papertrey Ink stamp for the lines and sentiment and sewed a little strip of brown.
I would also like to post a couple of cards that I made with the awesome stuff that I received in the mail for winning the Signs of Peace challenge. (Cath was so generous and sent cool papers from American Crafts, ribbon, buttons, card stock letters and more!)

My daughter, who is away at college, needed some cards for her sorority to give. First, a thank you card:

I used a Hero Arts butterfly stamp and colored it. Then cut it out with a die from Papertrey Ink. The sentiment  and circle border are Papertrey also.
Next up is a card to thank their cook... Everything here is from Cath, the fun papers, the ribbon and that so cute felt pot. (the sentiment is from Papertrey) I cut out a few knives and forks and pop dotted them.

This next card is to welcome someone to their house for a week's stay. All the girls were going to sign it and put it in the guest room.

I love these bright papers! I colored a Hero Arts stamp and the sentiment is from Papertrey.

This one I made just for fun.
(Hero Arts stamp. I cut out some of the flowers from the paper and put some Glossy accents on them and the butterfly and the white die cut is embossed with a text plate from Papertrey.

And this last one is my favorite. It is another thank you card. I cut up some of the paper into rectangles, stamped a Hero Arts flower, colored it with copics, added the fun button center and did a little sewing

I hope everyone had a great weekend and had as much fun as I did creating stuff!!
