Another Papertrey Challenge

Today's Papertrey challenge was to use the resist embossing technique. I have never done this and actually had to watch Nicole's video 4 times. (she did it soo fast! or I am just a slow learner LOL!) I didn't even start until 8pm because my daughter had Winter Formal tonight and I have been too busy to even look at the computer today! So here is my card. I used Guidelines, Mega Mixed Messages and a heart from Around and About Sentiments.I cut the butterfly from a practice piece with a Martha Stewart punch.
AAAANNNNNDDDD I AMM SOOO Happy to have won the stamp sets from Day 2!!! I got up and turned on the computer and thought I would look at the cards I posted to see if anybody had made any comments. I was hoping for just 1! And there it was - a congrats on your win!!! What ? It didn't sink in..... Then it did! I couldn't believe it!I don't usually put my cards on my blog because I thought I would wait till I got better. But for the chance to win more stamps, I decided to make as many as I could!! I started stamping about this time last year and have about 15 sets and not one is a duplicate!!Did I mention how happy I am? Then I started reading comments and everybody was sooo nice!Papertrey People are the nicest people!Thank you! Now I see how just a little comment to encourage or congratulate means and I will try to spend more time doing the same for others. Alli Miles said she loved my card and has no idea that she made my day, week or maybe even longer! I don't have the gift of words so this probably sounds rambling and incoherent but I am OK with that. Have a great day!
